Notes: Because I had to write something cheerful after the last few chapters if I didn’t want to get depressed... and because eucharis42 on deviantart promised me a picture of (and I quote) 'Meki and 'Nuki with some finger-licking action going down’. After that, how could I not gift her with a drabble? *___*

Summary: Years after his release from jail, Doumeki finds himself drawn into a plot much bigger than himself; one that has everything to do with a police inspector and a young girl.

A/N: Eventually DouWata. Crossover with the book/play/musical/movie Les Miserables, but no previous knowledge is necessary. It was supposed to be a parody but, true to my nature, it turned into something... else. The beginning is taken from LesMis, but the plot deviates into an original one by me. I may or may not rewrite it. :) Oh man, I am so getting flamed for this...

Summary:  For some people, “normality” is something that is ever-present and meant to be avoided at all costs. For Doumeki and Watanuki, it’s a rare treat to be enjoyed whenever it comes by.

It was a very peaceful, very boring Sunday afternoon...
